Jabong targets 100 percent growth with fourth edition of Big Brand Sale
The multi-brand e-commerce retailer Jabong has announced that it is aiming for 100 percent growth over last year’s edition for this year’s Big Brand Sale that will run from July 27 to 30.
Jabong will run its fourth Big Brand Sale starting at the end of the week, offering discounts ranging from 55 to 80 percent across all of its product categories. The sale will include over 3,000 international and Indian brands with over one lakh products discounted by over 50 percent for the first time on the platform and 15,000 styles discounted by 80 percent.
International brands involved in the sale include Calvin Klein, Next, Adidas, Nike, Guess, Superdry, Mango, Fossil, and Dorothy Perkins. Over four lakh products will feature in the sale in total.
“The Jabong Big Brand Sale is our marquee property that aims at celebrating premium fashion in a unique way,” the CEO of Myntra-Jabong, Ananth Narayanan, told IndiaRetailing. “We have witnessed a significant growth in the last three editions, and we are expecting 100 percent growth this edition over last year’s Big Brand Sale in July. We are anticipating 25 million sessions across platforms, acquiring four times [the number of] new Jabong customers as compared to same edition last year.”
The business has high hopes for the sale and expects over 13 million customers over the course of the four day event. Jabong has partnered with HDFC to offer customers ten percent cashback on purchases made with HDFC credit or debit cards of up to Rs 750 ($10) on a minimum spend of Rs 3,000. New customers will also be offered free shipping on their first order.
Jabong will offer over one lakh custimers “VIP slots” that will allow them to shop the sale early and all customers will be offered 100 percent cashback in “Jabong points” during the sale.
