Jabong launches ‘Luxury Store’ during showstopper festival

Indian online fashion retailer Jabong has launched an exclusive luxury store with the showstopper festival, which is currently underway on the platform till April 30.

The luxury store will house curated collection of hi-end fashion labels and the e-tailer expects high value order to increase four-times.

The four day festival will include high end products across all categories like apparel, beauty, accessories, and athleisure brands.
 
Gunjan Soni, Head of Jabong and CMO, Myntra, in a statement said, “We are delighted to attempt the premium online festival; the big highlight of the festival is the launch of Luxury and Designer stores. With this festival, we expect to have 3x increase in our daily traffic and 4 x rise in high value orders during the festival.”

Ananth Narayanan, CEO, Myntra – Jabong added, “Our research shows us that Jabong has a large share of affluent SEC A1 consumers who are also fashion forward in their choices. I am excited about the Showstopper Festival. It is a part of our strategy to differentiate the platform in line with the customer segment.”
 
Leading Indian designers like Ritu Kumar, Rajesh Pratap and Twelve AM:PM will showcase their collections along various premium and luxury brands, such as Superdry, Diesel, Michael Kors, Brooks Brothers, Guess, Swarovski, Dorothy Perkins, Tommy Hilfiger, Next, Marks & Spencer and many more.
 
Jabong in order to differentiate itself from parent firm Myntra, which currently holds a dominant share of India’s online fashion market is looking to tap premium section of the market with its latest offerings in the luxury segment.
