ITS gets ready for 2015 edition

ITS (International Talent Support) will soon be presenting its 14th edition. The international competition for young fashion, jewelry and accessories designers will be held this year over the course of one day (as compared with two in the past) on July 11, 2015 in Trieste, organizers announced in a statement.

Registrations closed on 23 March. The next step: in late April, ten finalists will be announced in three categories: apparel, accessories and jewelry, sponsored respectively by OTB, YKK and Swarovski, the event’s main sponsors.

Among the finalists, ten competitors will also participate in the Artwork competition, sponsored by Swatch. This award, which was introduced last year, is dedicated to "developing purely artistic concepts." The prize money totals nearly 100,000 euros. 

"ITS 2015: the future is here", states the organizers in a press release. This year ITS, has decided to "explore the undertakings of scientific progress and their connection with how we envisage tomorrow’s life, full of extraordinary technological accomplishments."
 
For the 2015 edition, the main sponsor of ITS Fashion, the competition dedicated to ready-to-wear, will not only be Diesel as usual, but Renzo Rosso’s entire group, OTB.
