Hidesign enters Bosnian market with store in Sarajevo
Hidesign India Pvt Ltd has entered a new international market in Bosnia by open an exclusive brand outlet in the city of Sarajevo as part of its ongoing international expansion plan.
The two-storeyed store is spread across an area of 1,800 square feet and will house the brand’s entire range bags, sunglasses, and footwear.
Hidesign recently completed 40 years in the fashion industry and is celebrating it with increased international expansion, eyeing 20 percent growth this year.
The brand has planned store openings in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Kuwait this year and will also be strengthening its presence in countries like the USA, Spain, and Portugal.
“We are aiming to become a more viable brand internationally. Our immediate focus is to expand our luxury range Atelier Hidesign—made from ostrich and deer leather—starting at ₹30,000 by adding new colours and designs to the existing women’s range and launching men’s collection,” Hidesign founder and chairman Dilip Kapur told the Mint.
“Our growth is led by new stores as well as e-commerce platforms where consumers from several big and small cities now have access to Hidesign. Discounted products online are also one reason that consumers are buying Hidesign online,” Kapur added.
Hidesign is present in over 25 countries and is internationally sold through a mix of independent stores, department stores, and on e-commerce sites. It distributes through 84 standalone stores in India.
