H&M names Caitlyn Jenner the face of Sport campaign

H&M on Thursday has found a face for its H&M Sport line and that person is Caitlyn Jenner.

 
Jenner took to social media to confirm the news: “Backstage with ‪@hm! So proud to be part of their inspiring ‪#HMSport campaign. ‪#MoreIsComing ‪#StayTuned” The 66-year-old Olympian also shared a photo from the campaign.
 
Almost a full year ago, Jenner came out as transgender and in June she appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair. The H&M announcement comes weeks after Mac Cosmetics made Jenner the face of its campaign and announced that the two have partnered on a lipstick shade called Finally Free.

According to the American media, H&M selected Jenner because they, “want to illustrate that everything is possible — in sports and in life. It is a collection of performance sportswear made to celebrate individuality and self-belief.”
 
H&M Sport launched in 2014 and offers activewear and accessories for men, women and children. The Swedish Olympic and Paralympic teams were outfitted in the new line at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, and the teams will wear H&M Sport again at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro this year.
