After launching H&M Beauty, a renewed, greatly expanded cosmetics range, in September, the Swedish retailer has this month launched a new range of organic beauty products for the skin, body and haircare, certified by the Ecocert organisation. The line is part of H&M's environmentally responsible ready-to-wear 'Conscious' line.

"We already feature environmentally responsible alternatives in our ready-to-wear apparel collections so it's only natural for H&M to offer the same type of range in H&M Beauty. We are constantly aiming to develop our products by setting ever-higher manufacturing and quality standards. With this new range of Conscious beauty products we are going even further in our sustainable approach," pointed out Wallander, a concept designer for H&M Beauty.

The new product line features about thirty products: lip balms, body and hand creams, wet and dry shampoos, aluminium salt-free deodorants of the roll-on type, and pre-shampoo hair oils, etc., all of them packaged in containers manufactured using recycled materials.

H&M Beauty includes a full range of make-up, skincare and haircare products, as well as beauty accessories. The Conscious line, launched in select stores and online, is an integration of the existing offering.
