Gosha Rubchinskiy debuts in Paris
Gosha Rubchinskiy has made a remarkable début this season as part of Paris’ menswear schedule. He presented in the morning in front of an audience that included Sarah Andelman (Colette), Carol Song (Opening Ceremony) and the young French trio composed of Guillaume, Anaïs and Roman from The Broken Arn, who all applauded the designer whose work they have purchased successfully.
Still infused with the rebellious and youthful spirit that originally attracted retailers worldwide, the new collection is entitled "Arctica”. It even features its own logo that shows up several pieces including hoodies, retro sports outfits in flashy colors or printed camouflage and utilitarian silhouettes with shoes from the new collaboration between Gosha Rubchinskiy and Camper and Vans.
The brand is now sold in about 25 stores worldwide including Oki-Ni, Opening Ceremony, Colette, Liberty, IT and The Broken Arm. And Comme des Garçons, which has supported the street prodigy for the past two years, is managing distribution and counts on at least doubling the network this season.
