Giorgio Armani: Garine Zerounian will head brand communications in the USA
Giorgio Armani's North American communications changes direction. A spokesperson for the Italian fashion house stated that Giorgio Armani has recently appointed Garine Zerounian head of brand communications for the North American market. This follows Rod Manley's departure for Calvin Klein in July, where he took charge of global communications as Executive Vice-President.
It's a promotion for Zerounian, who joined the luxury group in 2014, taking on the post of Vice-President for PR in North America. She has now been appointed Senior Vice-President of Communications, still for the North American continent.
She will report to Claudio Calò, Global Director of Communications for Giorgio Armani.
Garine Zerounian has a significant career to her name in the communications and luxury sectors, having notably worked for Belstaff, Tory Burch, Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Yves Saint Laurent.
