Following its success in the watches segment, the Fossil Group is now looking to make inroads in the accessories market in India by offering products like belts, bags, sunglasses, wallets, smart wearables among many other products.

With the demand for accessories in India on boom mode, Fossil is targeting working men to boost the sales of its accessories and drive growth. The accessories market in India is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12 percent and touch US$ 6 billion by 2019, according to a report by Technopak.

To cash in on the growth, Fossil has introduced a host of products like leather satchels, control Q smart watches, Griffin belts, Laverton round sunglasses and Richard RFID flip IB fold wallets at affordable price points which will be available at retail outlets and various e-commerce platforms.

Fossil Group currently has around 550 points of sales across the country, which includes exclusive outlets, departmental stores and multi-brand outlets. Last year it had partnered with Reliance Retail to expand its reach in the country and has Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Shruti Haasan as its brand ambassadors.
