Fashion Yatra features 70 designers for 14th edition in Hyderabad

On July 24, the fourteenth edition of the Fashion Yatra trade show took place at the Taj Krishna in Hyderabad and featured 70 designers.

This season, Fashion Yatra brought 70 fashion brands together to showcase their products in Hyderabad. The event was in support of “Teach for Change”, an organisation that works to educate underprivileged students. The proceeds of the event will be donated to the initiative.

Some of the womenswear clothing brands that had stalls included Milk Design Shop, Mrunalini Rao, Punit Balana, O-Layla, Zip (It) Up, and Petticoat Lane by Divya. Accessories brands included Shillpa Purii, Krsala, Jewel Saga, and Jewels by Jannath among others and children’s wear brands included Pink Feathers, Posh-Tots, and All Things Fancy. There was quite an even mix of traditional wear and western wear at the event as Hyderabad’s shoppers came out in full force to purchase pieces for next season and support charity.

The traditional wear brand Ekru chose the occasion to launch its “Festive 18” collection which included evening wear for the upcoming festive season. This year, Fashion Yatra had the theme and hashtag “Style Never Sleeps”.

Fashion Yatra was founded in June 2006 by its owner Kamini Saraf. So far the event has featured over 2,000 exhibitors.
