Last March Farfetch raised $86 million through DST Global, Condé Nast International and Vitruvian Partners, and has now launched My Swear, a bespoke luxury sneaker brand.

My Swear, the sneaker brand launched by Farfetch

My Swear features 10 models, their components all fully customisable: soles, patches, the lining and the leather.

Some sixty combinations are possible, thanks to a choice of materials such as Nappa leather, snake skin, suede, ostrich, as well as a range of colours (navy, black, red, fuchsia, yellow and beige), to be selected through an intuitive 3D modelling tool.

Customers first need to select the sneaker model they prefer from a choice of 10. Then they can let their creativity loose, choosing their preferred colours and materials for each part of the shoe. The prices change in real time according to the selection.

The sneakers are handmade in Portugal and their prices range between €300 and €700 (for the basic models). Depending on the customisation, some models, e.g. in crocodile skin, can cost up to several thousand euro.

For potential purchasers short on inspiration, the brand also features example models created by influencers such as Barbara Palvin, Miroslave Duma, Sky Ferreira and Thassa Naves for women, or Tyson Beckford, Billy Huxley and Thakoon Panichgul for men.

For the time being, My Swear is only available on the Farfetch website through the brand search tab, but it could soon have its own website.
