Farfetch appoints new board members

Farfetch, the British fashion e-tailer that gathers global fashion boutiques under one roof, has named three new members to its board of directors.

Danny Rimer is joining the company as Investor Director (as appointed by Index Ventures in 2015, replacing Robin Klein) and Farfetch has also announced two new Non-Executive Directors. Jon Kamaluddin is now its Chairman of the Audit Committee and Dana Evan is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Kamaluddin was the international director at ASOS from 2009 to 2013.

Danny has been on the journey with us as an investor and has a wealth of experience working with other e-commerce companies, we look forward to working even more closely with him and continuing to benefit from his expertise. Jon has been a big part of one of the world’s most successful online fashion businesses at ASOS, and Dana brings the US exposure and knowledge we need as a global business which has the US as its main market. We’re honoured by their appointment and look forward to many years of working and learning with them," Farfetch CEO José Neves said.

Danny Rimer commented, “After leading the initial round of funding for Index Ventures and having seen Farfetch grow, I am very pleased to be back on the board to work directly with José and the team to set the company up for future growth.”
