Farah Khan Ali launches a new line for Joya

This autumn, Farah Khan Ali will unveil her collection for the fashion and lifestyle exhibition Joya in Mumbai.

September the 22nd and 23rd have been announced as the dates for the launch of Farah Khan Ali’s collection and the venue has just been confirmed as the National Sports Club of India in Mumbai. Her collection will feature her signature fine jewellery using diamonds, gold, and precious stones. Bright colours and nature inspired motifs such as frogs, butterflies, and birds will also feature.

Khan Ali said that her designs for Joya, “take muse from the fluid gestures of a peacock in its dance, to beauty and elegance of a swan, untouched ethereal beauty with floral motifs, some ornate and some abstract, some symmetrical and some organic” and that, “All in all this collection is nature’s odyssey.” The designs will be shown alongside pieces by other luxury brands at the Joya exhibition which is run by Cineyug.

Farah Khan Ali graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in California in 1993. Farah Khan Fine Jewellery was launched in 2004 in Mumbai and the brand is currently franchised with AKM Mehrasons in New Delhi and Om Jewellers in Mumbai. The New Delhi flagship store was opened in 2009 and Khan Ali also opened a design house in the city.
