Eres : Yasmine Eslami and Marie-Paule Minchelli to oversee collections

There is a new set of minds at the head of Eres’ artistic direction. The Chanel-owned lingerie and swimwear label has confirmed the departure of Valerie Delafosse, which FashionMag Premium announced a few weeks ago. Not one, but two designers will replace her.

Marie-Paule Minchelli, who has worked alongside Valérie Delafosse as studio director since 2008, has been appointed director of lingerie collections. Previously, she served as director of Princesse collections at Tam Tam for ten years, and head of the Chantal Thomass collection for seven years.
Yasmine Eslami, meanwhile will take over at the head of the label’s beach segment (swimwear and beachwear). Eslami is joining Eres four years after having launched her own lingerie line.
The appointment of the duo is already effective, according to the Chanel-owned label. Lingerie should see a good deal of continuity while the beach segment will likely get a new look. This is the compromise that has been reached by the brand for its autumn-winter 15/16 collection.
