El Ganso hires former design director of Carolina Herrera menswear

El Ganso is bolstering its design team. The Spanish company founded by the brothers Alvaro and Clemente Cebrian, has just hired a design director for its menswear line, according to the Spanish press.

Antonio Marcos has recently served as design director for menswear at CH Carolina Herrera and Purificacion Garcia. He joined Carolina Herrera in 2010. 

After a career as a freelancer, Marcos joined Loewe, where he remained for five years. He then served as head of design at the Spanish menswear brand Scalpers between 2008 and 2010.

For El Ganso, the hire completes the team's creative team. At the end of 2013, the brand recruited Antia Lago to oversee its women's collections. 

In 2013, the brand recorded a turnover of 39 million euros, generated through a network of 88 point of sale.
