Dr.Hauschka: artist Tina Berning redesigns bronzing powder case

To celebrate the return from summer holidays in style, Dr.Hauschka, the German organic cosmetics brand, has enlisted Tina Berning to bring an artistic touch to its famous bronzing powder case.

For the project, the Berlin-based painter and illustrator, whose illustrations have been featured in the New York Times, Vogue and Playboy, dressed the compact in a watercolor featuring a woman who appears to be giving a sly nod to the viewer back over her shoulder.

As for the colors, Tina Berning opted for fiery, golden shades, accented with turquoise for a summer morning effect.

According to the artist, "When I think of Dr.Hauschka, I not only think of naturalness and sustainability, but also of sensuality and tranquility, as well as a very special world of fragrance in which I’ve been enveloped for years.”

The formula of the terracotta tinted, matte finished powder remains unchanged, however.

The limited edition case, sold with a small fabric bag and a brush, will become available at in all partner stores on September 1.
