Dior Homme has released a teaser for a movie set to accompany the retail launch of its Autumn / Winter 2015 catwalk collection.

Starring model-turned-actor Boyd Holbrook, the film tells the tale of the day in the life of an American in Paris. Titled "Paris XVIE," it is set at night and features a dapper-looking Holbrook wandering the French capital's streets after nightfall. His rakish suit contrasts with the late-night neon signs flashing behind him, perfectly capturing the "subversive elegance" of the collection that Dior hoped to express in the clip.

The movie will also come with its own photography campaign, also featuring Holbrook, in a partnership between Dior Homme's Creative Director Kris Van Assche and photographer Willy Vanderperre.

"We started this collaboration with a focus on the film and now the pictures also have that filmic feel," says Vanderperre. "We wanted somebody that we could explore the filmic idea with further, and it was Kris that suggested Boyd."

Dior isn't the only brand developing its creativity behind the camera -- Kenzo has also revealed the trailer for its comedy film "Here Now," directed by American filmmaker Gregg Araki. Starring Jake Weary, Nicole La Liberte and Avan Jogia, the film is set for release on July 4.

Paris XVIE will be released on August 31 on Diormag.com, and the still image campaign will be unveiled at the same time.
