The signature design will be unveiled today at a private reception at London Jewelers' Americana Manhasset location. Pendant creator and distinguished designer, David Yurman, will make a special appearance.

The sterling silver and amethyst pendant, with signature David Yurman cable detail, on a 16" box chain, retails for $295. The design will also be available in 18k gold, retailing at $1700.

Net proceeds from the sale of the pendant will benefit The Lustgarten Foundation's efforts in the fight against pancreatic cancer. 100% of all donations received by the Foundation goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.

The Lustgarten Foundation was founded in 1998, following the diagnosis of Cablevision executive Marc Lustgarten, who died from pancreatic cancer in 1999. In 2008, London Jewelers lost general manager, Michael Spevak, to pancreatic cancer.

Lustgarten Foundation Executive Director Kerri Kaplan said: "All of us at The Lustgarten Foundation are extraordinarily honored and grateful to have the support of such distinguished friends as David Yurman and London Jewelers for the creation of a signature pendant in recognition of the fight against pancreatic cancer. This special effort holds the potential to raise significant funding for urgently needed pancreatic cancer research."

Designer David Yurman said: "As someone who has suffered a personal loss to pancreatic cancer, I applaud The Lustgarten Foundation's commitment to advancing our understanding of this deadly disease. I am proud to lend my name and design to this worthy cause."
