Craftsvilla to open its first flagship store in November
The traditional wear e-commerce store Craftsvilla has announced that it will open its first brick and mortar store in November and has chosen Mumbai as its location.
Manoj Gupta, the Co- Founder of Craftsvilla, said about the brand’s upcoming brick and mortar expansion: “This year we are going Omni-channel. We are launching our own stores and also we are planning to open shop-in-shops in large format stores like Central, Lifestyle, Pantaloons, and Reliance Trends by next quarter. All the brands will be available offline and online. We have also listed our brands on Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra.” In this way, the opening of their first physical store is just part of the brand’s expansion strategy.
Gupta went on to say: “Craftsvilla’s first store will open in Mumbai in November. Spread across 800-1,000 square foot retail space, the store will be focussing only on Craftsvilla products.” Larger stores are to follow and these will also encompass the company’s other brands.
Moreover, the company is looking to further expand its private labels as well as its multi-brand marketplace. The brand is currently in the process of launching another private brand, Sutva, which will specialise in ethnic bridal wear. Gupta elaborated: “Apart from this, we are launching a few brands in the home and jewellery segments, but they will be coming the next year around January or February.”
