Corthay moves to Hong Kong

The shoemaker Corthay is opening up shop in Hong Kong in The Landmark shopping center. The store is decked out in wood trim and pop colors, like the house's historic atelier, opened in 1990 on the rue Volney in the second arrondissement of Paris near the Place Vendôme.

The store is the label's first location in Hong Kong, offering the entire "prêt-à-chausser" ready-made collection as well as made-to-measure by appointment. Bespoke service will also be offered once a month by the house's artisan shoemakers.

Founded in 1990 by Pierre Corthay, former chief artisan of Berluti, the brand offers high-quality shoes for men. The shoemaker has shops in Paris, London and Tokyo and a presence in department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods and Isetan. The company also has its own factory near Paris.
