The Converse x Bershka capsule features the signature high tops in four new tartan and repeat logo prints, ranging in the colors black, white, camel and red; and complementary outfits designed by Berhska.

Inspired by the Converse sneaker's re-invention throughout the decades since its debut, Bershka said its designs were made to evoke different iconic trends in history: a burgundy tracksuit, a corduroy smock, a double-breasted tartan jacket and a denim jumpsuit.

Converse first began selling its shoes in 1917, gaining notoriety as a sports shoe in the 1920s when basketball star Chuck Taylor began to wear and sell the brand. The shoe later adopted a long-lasting association with rebelliousness when Rebel Without a Cause actor James Dean was seen wearing the shoe. From that point on, the sneaker became a favorite of several poster-children of defiance, like The Ramones and Kurt Cobain.

Converse was purchased by Nike in 2003, and continues to be sported by celebrities like Beyoncé and Rihanna

Bershka, an Inditex-owned brand created in 1998, manages over 1,000 stores in over 70 markets and targets a millennial customer.
