Compagnie de Phalsbourg to open upscale outlet center
On Thursday, April 16, Compagnie de Phalsbourg launched the official marketing of its outlet center Village de Villefontaine. Covering 225,000 ft², it will include about 120 spaces and should open in late 2016 with an offer geared towards high-end.
The aim is to position the outlet center on a high-end and luxury footing. "There will be 10 high-end brands at the center," said Karine Leroy, commercial director at Compagnie de Phalsbourg, who formerly worked at Spanish outlet specialist Neinver.
In order to convince premium and luxury brands to sign up, a roadshow will be launched in Italy in May. Meanwhile, in London, outlet specialist Freeport, which is partnering with Compagnie de Phalsbourg on the project, will also work to convince British brands.
Obviously, The Village will also rely on the advantage afforded by its location. The center is half an hour from Lyon and along the A43, which provides access to the Alps.
