Coach to open first European Flagship Store on New Bond Street in London

NEW YORK, Sep 07, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) - Coach, Inc. (NYSE: COH), a leading marketer of modern classic American accessories, today announced the opening of its first European flagship store in London, timed to the brand's 70th Anniversary this year. The store is located at 41 New Bond Street.

The 6,900 sq. ft. retail space designed by the Coach Architecture Group features an interior that has a distinctive New York City attitude with the latest evolution of Coach's design and positioning. Throughout the two level Flagship is a mix of custom-designed cabinetry with vintage and bespoke freestanding fixtures. Flooring materials include end-cut oak with Carerra marble accents. An impressive curved marble staircase will be a centerpiece for the store. The fully restored bronze storefront, in the historic building will feature the Coach logo, highlighting the brand's dedication to its craftsmanship and heritage.

To celebrate the opening of its first flagship store in London, Coach is launching a New York-themed advertising campaign which will be part of a large-scale global launch with integrated print and outdoor advertising and exclusive product. The campaign features Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, photographed by Peter Lindberg in New York City.

The New Bond Street flagship location will feature a complete collection of both men's and women's product showcasing the world of Coach products, including shoes, sunwear, jewelry, watches, outerwear and fragrance. To commemorate the opening at No. 41 New Bond Street and our establishment in 1941, Coach has created the "41 Collection." The collection features three exclusive styles available at the store, each paying homage to a London neighborhood. In addition to the "41 Collection", the store will feature many of the brand's iconic collections, including Madison, Chelsea and Hamptons, each inspired by the brand's NY roots. For the first time and exclusively at the New Bond Street location, Coach will also be curating an exhibit of archival product from the brand's vast archives.
