Bourjois is splashing the season with color in a palette of intense, pigment-packed shades, drawing inspiration from world cultures and catwalk shows. The cosmetics brand is going bold this summer with a mix & match makeup collection for the globetrotting Parisienne, ready to hit the road to adventure.

The Bourjois "Paris Ethnic Chic" collection lands in audacious contrast to the season's discreet pastels and nudes, with a selection of lush, bold and highly pigmented shades of exotic inspiration. A zingy orange sits alongside a swimming pool turquoise or a deep blue tone, while a hot pink is matched with a golden khaki, the star shade of this summer 2016 makeup line.

Colorful smoky eyes

Bourjois eyes mesmerize, bursting with life this season thanks to a new color line-up of "Contour Clubbing Waterproof" eye pencils, ideal for smoky eye effects. For summer, the pencils get a waterproof formula for long-lasting color, whether at the beach or out and about on warm summer evenings. The brand has added to its existing black and brown shades with "Denim Pulse," a matte navy blue, "Kaki'smatique," a golden khaki, "Sea Blue Soon," an electric blue, and "Exub'Orange," an iridescent bronze.

Lips get their dose of high-pigment color too, with an intense take on the brand's "Color Boost" lip color. Here too, this chunky pencil has been tailored to the season with a waterproof formula and SPF 15 to protect lips. The "Lolli Poppy" shade is a bold candy bright orange, while "Plum Russian" offers a more subtle deep plum shade.

To complete the ethnic chic look, Bourjois has added three new mouthwatering shades of "1 Seconde" nail polish, with "Diabol'orange", "Fuchsianista" and "Kakidyllic."

The Bourjois "Paris Ethnic Chic" collection is due to land for summer 2016, priced from €8.55 to €11.50 (approx. $9.68 to $13).
