Björn Borg launches handmade retro sport capsule collection

Björn Birg, the Swedish sports fashion brand, is introducing a new, limited edition handmade collection.

The retro sport collection is inspired by the "history of space travel and the journey to find new frontiers that took place during the 1970’s and 80’s", a theme the brand also explored in its homage to the Mars One space initiative in their SS16 show during Fashion Week in Stockholm.

Björn Borg's retro collection has a colour palette of navy blue, white and red, and striped ribbed detailing adds to the vintage sports look. It's handmade in Stockholm, with each look limited to one to four pieces per style, head of design James Lee says.

The collection features 21 pieces of unique clothing plus six styles of matching socks, all numbered and delivered in a special casing. It launches on bjornborg.com as of January 19, 2016 and will retail for €21-320.
