Authentic Brands Group to develop Michael Jackson brand

Authentic Brands Group has signed a partnership agreement with the Estate of Michael Jackson, the company managing the legacy of the artist who died in 2009. The goal is to develop the Michael Jackson brand through products described as “unexpected, bold and innovative. "

Based in New York, Authentic Brands Group, which represents the brands of singers, actors and athletes such as Muhammad Ali, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley, recently acquired the ready-to-wear brand Jones New York. To manage the new acquisition, the company has named Mark Weber (formerly at LVMH) as a strategic advisor.
