Amazon India witnesses 80 percent growth in kidswear category
Global e-commerce giant Amazon has claimed that its sales in the kidswear segment grew by almost 80 percent in the current fiscal as compared to the last one thereby helping brands in the category expand its base in the country.
E-commerce firms are betting big on the booming kidswear segment for the overall growth of its fashion verticals and partnering exclusively with leading brands to expand its portfolio.
The kidswear market in India is currently estimated to be around $8.3 billion and is further expected to grow at 22 percent by 2023 according to a study by research firm Technopak.
