AllSaints unveils first store in Mexico

British contemporary brand AllSaints has launched a mainline store in Mexico City’s Antara shopping centre, located in Polanco.

The store is the brand’s first in the country, and follows recent openings in Peru and Chile. Featuring a total space of 2,368 sq ft, the shop offers menswear and womenswear collections alongside key looks from the Winter 2016 collections and The Capital Collection handbag range.

The Mexico debut was facilitated by internationally renowned firm Grupo Sordo Madaleno, which currently operates across 25 retail locations hosting fashion, cosmetic and toy franchises.

“Expansion in Latin America has always been an integral part to our growth strategy and we are thrilled to work with Group Sordo Madaleno on this venture,” said AllSaints CEO William Kim.

The brand’s chief executive said Group Sordo Madaleno was “an obvious partnership choice” for Mexico, as its boasts of over 50 years of expertise in the Mexican retail sector.

The opening of the first store in Mexico is another important step in AllSaints' Latin America expansion. The label, best known for its wide offer of leather jackets for men and women, signed at the end of last year a deal with leading retailer Cencosud to open its first ever stores in the region.

Last year AllSaints also launched new stores in the US, Italy and Turkey. The label has now 220 directly operated stores, franchises, concessions and outlets in 23 countries including the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
