Airfield appoints Sophia Bitter as Chief Marketing Officer

Sophia Bitter served as marketing head of Airfield for three years before being appointed by the Austrian clothing label to take over the newly created position of CMO.

“Mrs. Bitter brings in-depth marketing and PR knowledge about the international fashion market. She will play a vital role in developing the highly successful brand Airfield in international markets, which is very important for our further expansion. Focusing on the brand thus puts our corporate strategy more into focus,” said Walter Moser, owner and CEO of Airfield.

Before joining the clothing label, Sophia Bitter worked at the footwear brand, Frauenschuh, where she was responsible for the international marketing activities.

Currently, the Seewalchen-based label Airfield (part of Walter Moser GmbH) operates eleven flagship stores in Germany and Austria; five warehouse outlets in Germany, Austria and in the Netherlands, and ten monobrand stores in Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, Armenia, Ukraine and Spain. In addition, the brand is present in many European countries by shop-in-shop concepts.
