Zivame names Yash Dayal as chief technology officer

Women’s lingerie brand Zivame has appointed Yash Dayal as its new chief technology officer. He joins Zivame from fashion platform Myntra where, he was a senior director.

Dayal will lead the technology and engineering departments at Zivame and will be responsible for personalisation of the platform.
 
Commenting on Dayal’s appointment, Amisha Jain CEO of Zivame, in a statement said: “Yash brings a wealth of industry experience and we look forward to his contribution in making Zivame a personal and inclusive platform for our consumers along with driving efficiencies in supply chain and operations.”

Talking about his new role, Dayal said: “I look forward to building and scaling systems on both the consumer side and supply chain. I am eager to build on the seamless and hyper-personalised experience for our consumers and also harness the numerous opportunities to leverage data science for improving efficiencies in the warehouse operations, demand and inventory management, and logistics.”
 
Dayal has over 16 years of experience working for consumer internet technology companies in different leadership roles.
 
Richa Kar launched Zivame in 2011 and the brand is run by Actoserba Active Wholesale. Zivame has a number of its own private label lingerie brands and reported sales of Rs 140 crore ($20 million) in the 2019 financial year.
