Yavï debuted its spring/ summer 2019 collection at the multi-brand boutique Ragamuffin in Edinburgh, Scotland. The brand has also recently launched in Ceci Paolo in Ledbury and in Colmers Hill in Bridport, UK. The brand now has a presence in the US, UK, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, and Australia and is also featured in a number of international museums.

The brand runs interactive events not only to drive increased customer interaction with the brand but also to raise awareness about sustainability. On October 20, Yavï will hold a Coaster Making Workshop at Blue Tokai in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The workshop will teach attendees how to make coasters from repurposed textile scraps, finding a use for the brand’s textile waste and encouraging others to do the same with their own unused textiles.

The brand has also teamed up with the musician Bawari Basanti for its latest video campaign for its festive 2019 collection which was inspired in part by the flow of music and how it brings people together. Basanti sings a number of stories whilst modelling the brand’s latest collection in her home. The brand has a habit of working with female musicians and featured Abhilasha Sinha in its spring/ summer campaign.

Yavï was founded by designer Yadvi Agarwal in 2016 and made its runway debut at Lakme Fashion Week in 2018. The brand uses hand painting techniques using found objects and blocks, repurposed textiles, and sustainable Khadi weaves.
