Y-3 is trying its hand at vintage demin. The brand, which is a joint creation from Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto, has teamed up with brother-duo Warehouse Denim. For Spring-Summer 2013, Y-3 will launch a capsule collection with Kenichi and Kenji Shiotano, founders of Warehouse Denim.

The ‘Nice to Meet You’ collection, as it is titled, consists of three models. First, a standard, five-pocket pair that were designed with the expertise of Warehouse and made from American cotton. The second model is a drop-crotch pair with a larger, wider cut, made from cotton selvage denim.

The trio is rounded off with a statement pair of jeans, lined with a feather print Japanese fabric, commonly used to make traditional Japanese robes. The three pieces will cost between 400 and 615 euros in Y-3 stores, online and via several stockists worldwide from mid-January.
