Xtep enters India's offline market with its first store in Mumbai

Chinese homegrown sports brand Xtep International Holdings Ltd has entered the Indian market with the launch of its first store in the city of Mumbai.

The store located at the city’s Malad Infinity Mall offer clothing, footwear, and sports equipment from the brand. Their range of products includes shoes, shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, among others.

Xtep has been rapidly expanding its international presence by opening stores and sees huge potential for growth in the Indian market.

Commenting on the launch, Antone Liu, general manager India of Xtep in a statement said, “We are thrilled to open our stores in India, especially now that we will be serving a massive market that is rapidly expanding. As a sports label, Xtep has a lot to offer in a variety of categories. Xtep has grown to be a leading sporting goods company with high-quality products after more than 30 years of development.”

Xtep operates over 6,200 stores in 31 provinces and municipalities across China, including a strong network of distributors and shopping mall operators. In 2019, Xtep acquired several international brands overseas to supprot its multi-brand and international expansion strategy.
