Wow Skin Science partners with Warner Bros to tap kids segment
Skincare brand Wow Skin Science has partnered with Warner Bros Media to launch an entire line of personal and healthcare products for kids, after acquiring the rights for ‘Justice League’.
With this partnership, Wow Skin Science will have the rights for a total of two years to the entire league of characters from ‘Justice League’ for their products.
Wow Skin Science aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian market and tap the growing kid’s care segment with this licensing deal.
Commenting on the partnership, Vikram Sharma vice president Warner Bros consumer products Asia in a statement said: “We are very excited about the partnership with Wow Skin Science for personal care. Their focus on plant-based sustainable products is a good fit with our brands.”
Manish Chowdhary, chief executive officer and co-founder of Wow Skin Science, added: “We are extremely excited with this association and how the product line using the Justice League imagery has turned out. This venture with Warner Bros will play a key-role in Wow’s five-year growth strategy, the most integral knob in this strategy is for us to be able to create an independent consumer base and we are bullish on the response this is going to get.”
Wow Skin Science has a strong online presence and it retails on a large number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Nykaa, Snapdeal, Flipkart, Paytm, BigBasket, and Myntra. The brand also sells in multi-brand stores such as Nature’s Basket and Health & Glow in cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
