Pavandeep Singh had joined the organisation as head of marketing strategy in 2019 and played an instrumental role in the growth of the brand during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In his new role, he has been entrusted with the duty of re-inventing the brand’s identity and position in the market. He will also be looking after the expansion of the brand across the globe.

Commenting on his new role, Pavandeep Singh in a statement said, “Taking charge of a legacy brand like Woodland is a huge responsibility and I have accepted it with a lot of excitement with an aim to take the brand to the next level.”

“During the pandemic, we crossed new milestones by marking a very strong presence across various e-commerce channels. Other than this, we have also expanded our footprint in the export market. I aim to create a sustainable growth model for Woodland by capturing new markets while preserving our brand values,” he added.

Woodland specialises in premium athleisure footwear designed for the outdoors and runs its ‘super-premium’ Wood label. The brand, which began in Canada, first entered India 25 years ago and retails through 500 stores with a presence in over 5,000 multi-brand outlets.
