Woodland opens two stores in Noida

Adventure and outdoor shoes maker Woodland from Aero Group has opened two new concept stores at the Great India Place Mall and DLF Mall of India in the city of Noida.

The new stores are spread across an area of 2,800 sq ft and 2,000 sq ft of space respectively and showcase a range of footwear, apparels, bags, and accessories for both men and women. The company plans to add 40 stores annually across the country.
 
Commenting on the opening of its new stores Harkirat Singh, MD of Woodland in a statement said, “The new store concept and these store launches add to our brand’s repertoire of pro-planet philosophy featuring eco-friendly elements like the use of recycled wood, LED energy saving lighting amongst others with a warm colour palette. Known for the positive values we embody, we wanted to facilitate the same into the fresh designs in our new format stores too. With an astounding result– the stores look stunning, displaying a beautiful mix of ethos and product”.

Woodland is expecting is revenue to jump 15 percent to Rs1350 crore (approx $210.8 million) for the financial year 2017-18.  Woodland entered India in 1992 and currently has 600 company-owned stores and is present in over 5,000 multi- retail outlets across the country.
