Woodland enters personal care segment with launch of deodorants

Leading footwear and performance apparel brand Woodland, owned by Aero Club, has entered into the personal care segment with the launch of a range of deodorants.

The newly launched line is a part of the ‘Spring & Summer 2021 Collection’ and caters to both men and women. Woodland Deodorants have been launched in three fragrances namely; Forest Dew, Mountain Mist, and Glacial Storm. The range has been priced at Rs 195 ($3) per bottle.
 
Commenting on the launch, Aero Club Managing Director, Harkirat Singh, said in a statement said: “With the launch of our most awaited line of deodorants for both men and women, we are thrilled beyond measure about diversifying into the personal care segment. It remains our constant endeavour to push our boundaries and offer best-in-class products to suit our customers’ unique needs."

“We are hopeful that this year will bring back a sense of normalcy we long for and exciting avenues to venture out and explore the outdoors,” he added.
 
Woodland entered the Indian market in 1992 and currently has over 600 company-owned stores and 5,000 multi-retail outlets across the country. The company plans to achieve sales of Rs 2,500 crore ($346.2 million) by the fiscal year 2025.
