It is a natural progression. After acquiring a large majority of Performance & Lifestyle Group’s portfolio, Wolverine Worldwide is working on integrating the new brands into its operational structure.

Sperry Top-Sider, Keds and Stride Rite are now part of the Lifestyle division at Wolverine Worldwide while Saucony has been placed in Performance.

Gregg Ribatt, former CEO and President of Performance & Lifestyle Group, will be leaving Wolverine. "In five years with PLG, Gregg has done an excellent job leading PLG strategy and assembling an exceptional team of leaders that has driven these brands to the levels of success they are achieving today, and we thank him for his accomplishments. We are confident that this new organizational structure and the operating groups' newly appointed leaders will help accelerate the global performance of the former PLG brands," said Krueger.

Wolverine Worldwide will be reorganizing into three divisions; Heritage, which will remain largely unchanged, will continue to be headed by Ted Gedra who has spent 27 years at WWW. The Lifestyle division will be taken over by Mark Neal, who was already president of the group and who has spent 18 years with Wolverine. Finally, Jim Zwiers, who formerly headed the Outdoor division, will take charge of Performance brands. He has been with the company for 15 years.
