William Penn names Gokulnath Subramanian as new CBO

William Penn has named Gokulnath Subramanian as its new chief business officer. The luxury writing implement and lifestyle accessories brand has reached its two decade milestone in the industry.

“We are delighted to welcome Gokulnath Subramanian to the leadership team,” said William Penn’s managing director Nikhil Ranjan, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “With his remarkable experience and our aligned vision, I’m confident that William Penn will scale new heights. As we celebrate 20 years of embarking on the journey to becoming India’s premier destination for fine writing instruments and lifestyle accessories, we are all set to expand our world-class product portfolio across markets to deliver memorable customer experiences.”
 
In his new role, Subramanian will be tasked with driving business growth and scaling William Penn’s operations. Subramanian has experience at a range of businesses including Ubaan, Mebaz, and Arvind Limited’s Creyate.

William Penn launched in 2002 and caters to both business-to-business and business-to-customer audiences. The brand opened its first store in Bengaluru and now has a retail presence across India.
