She has been in the headlines recently thanks to her vocal role in the Harvey Weinstein controversy, but Hollywood star Rose McGowan is reportedly set to make inroads into the beauty industry soon, thanks to a new skincare collection.

The actress founded her beauty line ‘The Only Skincare' several years ago with her aunt Rory McGowan, but is now set to launch new products before February 2018, Refinery29 reports.

The brand's website lists an anti-aging wash and lotion suitable for face and body that are available for pre-order, although it is not clear if the star has any additional products in the pipeline. McGowan last teased the project back in April on social media with Instagram and Twitter posts declaring: "Skincare line is debuting soon!!!"

If the reports prove to be true, then McGowan will be the latest in a growing list of female celebrities to set up their own beauty companies. Kim Kardashian is one of the biggest names to have made a mark on the industry this year, after following in the footsteps of her younger sister Kylie Jenner and launching her own makeup brand, ‘KKW Beauty', over the summer.

Superstar Madonna also has her own skincare brand, ‘MDNA Skin', which made its US debut in September, while Rihanna made headlines with the launch of her ‘Fenty Beauty' label this fall.
