Welspun India eyes over Rs 15,000 crore revenue by FY26
Welspun India expects to attain around 60% total revenue growth over the coming three years. This will take the textiles business’ total revenue over the Rs 15,000 crore mark by the 2026 financial year.
“FY26 expected to be upwards of Rs 15,000 crore at a CAGR [compound annual growth rate] of 24% (over FY23 expected),” said Welspun India in a statement shared with the bourses on November 22, the Press Trust of India reported. “We can expect demand [to] pick-up in the next couple of quarters.”
Welspun plans to continue to expand its international business to fuel growth in markets spanning the UK, Europe, South East Asia, and the US. The business will expand both its brands and license shares in these regions in the coming years.
Welspun India’s domestic business is also growing and is expected to contribute approximately 11% of its total revenue by the 2026 financial year. Domestic business accounted for 3% of Welspun India’s total business in the 2022 financial year, ET Bureau reported.
‘Emerging businesses’ will be a key focus area for Welspun India in the coming three fiscals. These include domestic retail, e-commerce, licensed and owned brands, advanced textiles, and flooring. The business specialises in home textiles and owns brands in the sector including Spaces and Christy.
