A year after its creation, the Wacoal Europe subsidiary has announced new appointments to its executive team. The Japanese lingerie group (Wacoal, Freya, Fantasie, Huit, Elomi...) is continuing with the structuring of its team and has announced new internal appointments. They come six months after the recruitment of Hans Hornemann as general director of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia), three appointments that allow him to create his right-hand team.

Evelyne Piegay, who until now had been export director of Wacoal Europe, and before that sales director of the Freya and Fantasie brands until the incorporation of the Eveden group, has been promoted to a different position. She will now be country manager France for all of the group's brands and in charge of different aspects, sales obviously, but also marketing, financial aid and customer service.

Evelyne Piegay will continue to supervise the activities in certain European countries, not covered by the other appointments. Rosemarie Castellini has been appointed manager of the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, while Edwin van den Bergh adds Scandinavia to his previous functions for the Benelux zone. Both of these were already part of the group before this reorganisation, the goal of which is for the Wacoal group to really penetrate the European continent.

Three managers for three defined zones, while the remaining zones, Russia and the Middle East, return under the direct responsibility of the general director EMEA, Hans Hornemann.
