Vogue Eyewear names Taapsee Pannu as new face of the brand in India
Vogue Eyewear named Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu as the face of its brand in India on Wednesday. Pannu stars in the brand’s new ‘Let's Vogue’ campaign for the Indian market.
In her new role for Vogue Eyewear, Pannu showcases the brand’s latest collection of glasses and sunglasses in an eclectic campaign. As the new face of Vogue Eyewear in India, Pannu joins the brand’s “global portfolio of inspiring women,” it announced in a press release on July 14.
“Taapsee Pannu truly exemplifies the free-spirited Vogue Eyewear woman with her impeccable blend of beauty and essence,” said Vogue Eyewear’s brand business head Gunjan Saigal in a press release.
“She is a real woman who embodies every ethos that the brand represents, making her the best suited Indian influencer face to represent our narrative. We are very excited to have her onboard and looking forward to a promising collaboration.”
“I am delighted to be partnering with Vogue Eyewear and become their India face of the #LetsVogue campaign,” said Pannu. “My personal style preferences completely resonate with the playful, chic and fashionable essence of the brand, and I believe that is a very seamless connect that we have. Vogue Eyewear speaks to the young and vivacious women, who like to keep it real and believe in their inner selves. For all those who know me well, are aware that when it comes to fashion, I always prefer a style that is original and relatable. And that very naturally makes me a Vogue Eyewear woman.”
Vogue Eyewear launched in Florence, Italy in 1973. The brand retails in India through a wide array of retail outlets online and offline including Tata Cliq, Lenskart, Nykaa Fashion, and Flipkart, among others.
