VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show 2019 to feature India Pavilion

The VOD Dubai jewellery trade show will feature an India Pavilion at its upcoming edition from November 13 to 16 to showcase fine jewellery, gemstones, and jewellery packaging.

The VOD Dubai International Jewellery show, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will showcase a range of Indian jewellery brands and gemstone retailers with the aim of increasing Indian gem and jewellery exports worldwide. The trade show counted 20,000 visitors from 84 countries at its 2018 edition, according to the GJEPC, and expects a similar turnout this year.

The event will feature a number of networking sessions to facilitate the creation of trade ties in the industry and to help businesses to expand their international distribution networks. The major countries that send visitors to the exhibition include the UAE, India, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, China, Russia, the US, UK, Syria, and Hong Kong.

Previously, the event has counted over 500 jewellery businesses from 25 countries as exhibitors. For ease of navigation, the exhibition has previously been divided into sections for global brands, fine jewellery and national pavilions, gemstones and diamonds, and packaging and supply. A total of 11,000 square metres has been dedicated to the exhibition and a number of product line launches are expected at its upcoming event. 

The India Pavilion at the event is organised by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council and the Government of Dubai’s Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.
