Dame Vivienne Westwood, the British fashion designer who has been known for her avant garde-creations since the 1970's, is celebrating the five-year anniversary of her work with the Ethical Fashion Initiative's Made in Africa project with two new bags.

The Ethical Fashion Initiative is run by the International Trade Centre and its aim is to connect marginalised artisans, mainly women from African and Haitian communities, to the international fashion industry.

The Vivienne Westwood Made in Africa bags are made by Kenyan artisans and the EFI says: "Vivienne's continued support has enabled the long-term improvement of artisan lives & their continued skill development."

The two new bags, the Squiggle Leopard Runner Holdall and the Squiggle Shopper, are available in Westwood's webshop now and retail for £150 and £145.
