Vimonisha to hold shopping fair in Chennai this September

Multi-brand shopping fair Vimonisha will bring together luxury brands for a business-to-customer fair from September 17 to 18 in Chennai.

 
The ‘Vimonisha September Designer Festa’ will feature brands from across India and its target audience is women of all ages in the city. The fashion fair will take place at Wild Garden, the café at Amethyst, in Chennai and the majority of brands will be in the luxury and bridge-to-luxury segments of the market.
 
Describing itself as an, “international exhibition for designer wear, jewellery, accessories, and home products,” Vimonisha’s upcoming edition will feature products in categories including sarees, fusion wear, jewellery, footwear, handbags, gift items, and lifestyle products. The event aims to give brands a launch pad from which to expand their customer base, reach new audiences, and debut their new collections.

The shopping fair will feature around 55 exhibitors and expects upwards of 3,500 visitors over the course of its two-day event, according to its 10Times events page. Featured brands will include Turmerik, Dot Studio, That One Place, and Urban Tattva, among others.
 
Vimonisha has been holding shopping fairs for the past 30 years. The events business’s founder Monisha recently launched a new vertical for private shopping events based around Chennai with the aim of launching luxury brands in the city to their target audiences.
