Vidya Knowledge Park fashion design students showcased their collections for the first time on the runway on day three of India Runway Week. The fashion show took place on March 31 in DLF Place in Saket and featured bold graphics and bright prints.

Notable designs included monochrome casual suits featuring a graphic rendering of swirls of ink, natural hued ensembles featuring motifs resembling watercolour painting and tailored suits featuring tape-measure details such as belts. 1980s-inspired colour-blocked mini-dresses and bright oversized gingham prints added a retro feel.

Vidya Knowledge Park is located in Meerut, Delhi NCR, and is an educational facility that offers a range of courses including fashion design. The institution recently celebrated its first decade and the 75 acre campus houses a fashion design school.

India Runway Week ran from March 29 to 31 in the capital and was organised by India Federation for Fashion Development. Founded in 2013, the recent edition of India Runway Week was its eleventh season.
