Veruschka collaborates with Peeké for men’s footwear collection

Veruschka designer Payal Kothari and Peeké designer Parikshaat Wadhwani have collaborated on a new collection of men’s footwear designed for the festive wedding season.

The new Veruschka x Peeké collaborative collection “Musically Yours” mixes Kothari and Wadhwani’s design sensibilities for an exclusive range of men’s shoes. The collection of embellished slip-on shoes was inspired by some of the world’s most famous musicians and each shoe reflects the personality of the musician it was named after.  

Shoes that feature in the collection include the Zakir in embroidered midnight blue, Floyd in dusty pink velvet, Billy J with beaded designs, Rehman in red suede, Stevie in golden brocade, and Jivan in black beaded velvet. There is a balance of more ostentatious pieces and more subtle models to give the collection versatility.

“While Payal is a believer of handcrafted shoes, where artisans make each pair to the perfect fit, quality and design, Parikshaat's designs boast of colourful prints with a hint of embroidery and bling,” read Veruschka’s press release. “The two together, aim to dress the man in fabulous footwear for the upcoming festivities and parties.”

The collaborative collection has launched on Veruschka’s e-commerce site. Shoes range in price from Rs 6,500 ($90.86) to Rs 12,500 for more elaborate pairs.
