Vera Wang Group and Chinese fine jewelry company Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group have announced they will partner on a line of fine jewelry, the Vera Wang Love collection. The new collaboration is set to launch on October 19 of this year in mainland China.

The Vera Wang Love collection targets the modern Chinese bride

Pieces from the Vera Wang Love collection were designed to target the modern Chinese bride, who the two companies said "has begun to incorporate diamond jewelry into traditional engagements."

The collection will include 18-karat gold and platinum engagement rings, wedding bands and fine fashion jewelry featuring precious stones like diamonds and sapphires. Pieces from Vera Wang Love begin at $400.

“The sophistication, quality, technical capabilities and vast consumer reach of Chow Tai Fook will enable me to create both wedding and fashion signature pieces at the highest quality from the attainable to the most exclusive," Wang said in a press release.

Diamonds used in the collection will hold a T Mark, a certification created by Chow Tai Fook to certify the diamond's origin.

Speaking on the new collaboration with the Chinese-American designer, Chow Tai Fook Managing Director Kent Wong said the two partners "share the same commitment to craftsmanship, quality and design."

The collection will make its debut at Chow Tai Fook stores in Shanghai and will later be released in cities like Beijing, Chengdu and Hong Kong.
