Vegan accessories brand Zouk enters footwear segment
Vegan accessories brand Zouk has expanded its product offerings with the launch of its India-inspired cruelty-free footwear marking its entry into this segment.
The brand has also unveiled its new brand identity to strengthen its customer base and expects the new branding to strike a chord with its target audience.
Commenting on the launch, Disha Singh, co-founder CEO at Zouk in a statement said, “When we asked our customers what was the second category Zouk should offer, the top request was footwear. So, today we are very happy to offer India-inspired styles and super comfortable footwear that women deserve. As always with Zouk, the footwear is cruelty-free.”
Talking about the new brand identity, Pradeep Krishnakumar, co-founder at Zouk added, “The initial brand identity was something we had quickly put together to start off. But we felt we have now reached a stage where the brand and its customers deserved something better. Something that stood for what we as a brand and what our products stand for. Hence, we decided to go back to the drawing board.”
Zouk retails a range of handbags, laptop bags, tote bags, and pouches claiming to have a customer base of over 2,00,000 in this segment. The brand was founded by Disha Singh and Pradeep Krishnakumar and works with local artisans across India.
